About Me
My Mission Statement
Having been a licensed attorney since 1968, I am now a senior myself and want to give back to other seniors. Therefore, I offer the following:
John S. Levy, Attorney-at-law
A Little About Myself
I provide a way for clients to avoid probate through the use of a Revocable Trust. This simple Will substitute for the avoidance of probate, attorneys, and courts, long delays, and great expense. I love working with seniors and do all this for considerably less than market rates.
I graduated with a B.A. from University of Michigan in 1964, and graduated Wayne State University Law School in 1967 with a Juris Doctor degree. I was a member of the Michigan Bar from 1968-1976 and am a member of the Florida Bar and the Texas Bar.
I have been happily married to my wife and life companion since 1966 and have two married daughters and four grandchildren. We live here in Central Texas to be closer to all of them.
My passion since moving to Texas is to provide fellow seniors with a low-cost avenue to avoid the expensive and lengthy probate experience. Their heirs appreciate the simple distribution of assets without having to pay hourly attorney fees and court costs, and I can provide this service without great expense because I have no overhead.
I enjoy spending time with my family. I am formerly a member of the Lakeway Board of Ethics, the President of the Lakeway Newcomers Club, and Treasurer of the Lakeway Newcomers Club Alumni. My hobbies include watching sports on television, especially the University of Michigan.
